On the valentine’s weekend this year (2010), I visited Iowa Illinois Auto Show 2010 in the local community in Davenport. The following are some of the selected pictures I took on in that show. Since this was a regional auto show, there was no reasons to compare it to the annual international auto shows they have in Detroit, MI.

The following car companies had displayed their latest models in this show.

Project 365 in photography refers to taking 1 photo each day for 365 days a year and seeing your life in whole new way after a year. This project aims at capturing little day to day life activities and capturing them in photos to have a wonderful memory after a year, which would otherwise have been forgotten. This also greatly helps to improve your photography skills because you constantly play with your camera every day.

I am more interested in photography these days in the leisure time so I recently bought a Professional SLR camera (Canon EOS 5D Mark II). I am learning ways to take tack sharp professional images and digital editing. Long way to go, but I am hopeful. Tried some channel extract today, so sharing my experience.

In RGB Colorspace, digital images are made up of 3 primary colors: Red Green and Blue. Also there is a transparency factor called Alpha. In this post production digital photography, I am experimenting with using the single color channel and removing the other two. I am maintaining the alpha (transparency) value as it was in the original image.
